Incidentally, when did the word, "colored," ever become a pejorative?  I never heard it used that way.  It may not be the preferred PC word, today, but it's still proudly used by the NAACP ("National Association for the Advancement of Colored People").

Whether it was his intention, Mr. Trump's election has empowered a new wave of racism. The defenders of mascot names will continue to cite statistics favoring their viewpoint gleaned from datasets of their crafting.

Yes.  Both sides manufacture "alternative facts"; however, I wasn't aware that that liberal bastion, The Washington Post, would skew their own poll in favor of such a politically incorrect stance, such as that taken by the Washington Redskins.
