I've only moved it to another section. It's still open for questions. It's not locked, changed or altered in any way. When this was first started it involved questions about Standing Stone, that's not an issue anymore. The only thing that's woodland about this now, is how to cook your steaks.

CALL FOR VOLUNTEERS

Come and help us create a beautiful representation of our culture, our People

Construction will begin soon on an interpretive Native Village here at Nemacolin Woodlands in southwest Pennsylvania. This will be a teaching facility, helping to show First Nations homes and traditional ways of life. In this way we show our culture, our way. A First Nations village built by First Nations People.

Structures from many Nations will be represented. Northeast, Southeast, Northwest, Southwest, Plains and Desert. Constructed from natural materials, in the right way. Structures will include:

Earthen House
Wetu
Hogan
Longhouse
Wattle House
Plank House

If you are familiar with how to construct any of these type of dwellings, contact us immediately. All lodging and food will be provided during your stay here. This is a volunteer activity, so no one is getting paid. Absolutely no drugs or alcohol will be permitted. Travel expenses will be paid for.

Hawk, you want to tell us a little bit about First Nations, Inc? When was it incorporated? Where is it incorporated, what state? Non-profit or is it a for-profit corporation? Who all is involved? Who are the directors?

Others here on Woodland may not care about this new corporation, but I do.

Hi everyone I do not know if this is the right place to ask but I have been following the birth of the white buffalo in PA and I was just wondering what happen to the baby buffalo calf that was born to the white and black buffalo while they where still at the other zoo

that young calf didnt make it. he died a few days after birth. although unproven, it is believed the white was not his father.
