Naming Convention Help
Hello,
I've been asked to try and render a few phrases into NU, but in this case I have no clue how to put the words together so they make sense.
The first is "Bearded Hunter:, of perhaps "Hunter with a beard"
The second if "Guide who talks loud", or "Guide with a loud voice"
In NU I know beard is "wuttoney", and I think "he has a beard" is something like "tuneye" (?). Hunter is "elanuit".
Would the best way be something like "hunter WITH a beard"? Not sure if that would invoilve a preposition (with) or the use of the locative case for 'beard'.
Not sure there's a more clearer way of rendering it - more along the lines of "bearded" as a descriptive adjective.
Sort of the same with the second one.
Amangiechsin - he speaks loud, but there's also "machkachsin" - to speak loud
Kichklinet - Guide
So something like "he speaks loud, the guide" or "the guide, he speaks loud" ?
Any direction would be most appreciated.

wittoneyat elawit = 'hunter who has a beard'
memangiechsit kichkinet = 'guide who speaks loudly' OR machiechsit kichkinet = 'guide who speaks loudly'
[note: machkachsin = 'red stone' (i.e., copper, brass, brick, etc.)]

What is the grammatical breakdown of "wittoneyat" - specifically the "-at" ending??
I get the -sit ending in 'memangiechsit', but what's the 'me-' at the beginning??
If the SU spelling was used here, how might they be rendered (trying to get a better idea on pronunciation)
I obviously got the wrong word in 'machkachsin'!

wittoneya- ['has a beard'] + -t ['he who']

The root, amang- ('big'] was originally mamang-. This is restored in participles and takes initial change where the first short a becomes long e.

witonayat elawit / memangixsit kìhkinèt OR maxixsit kìhkinèt {note: The forum will not allow me to write a short a in the SU fashion - accent grave over the a. The short a's are here written in bold type.

The final -t (one who) I guess I'm used to seeing it with an 'i' before it - makes complete sense now.
Never would have guessed that with 'memang'
